The DRBDC Board is comprised of a multi-jurisdictional membership of public and private sector persons, as well as, economic developers who work together to acquire and leverage funding to support the economic revitalization of the region.  The Board of Directors of the DRBDC is specified in the corporation bylaws as follows:

• Treasurer, Otis Hawker , Assistant County Administrator as the Pittsylvania County Administrator's designee
  
  
• Lyle Lacy , Assistant City Manager as The Danville City Manager's designee
  
  
• Carol Motley , The Pittsylvania County Economic Development Director
  
  
• Buddy Rawley , Director of Development at Danville Community College - Private sector appointee of Danville Economic Development
  
  
• Robert Scearce , A representative of the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors
