Linda Hutson Green - President
Linda Hutson Green serves as President of the Dan River Business Development Center, a local incubator that provides hosting and support of entrepreneurial businesses. She brings experience as the Director for Federal Funding and Entrepreneurship with the Center for Innovative Technology, where she also served terms as Director of Manufacturing and Regional Technology Transfer. Green also brings private sector experience as a Quality Engineer with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, and has served for the Governor as Executive Director for the Virginia Research and Technology Advisory Commission. She has significant experience in reviewing business plans, quality and performance standards, and is a frequent facilitator for strategic and transitional plans due to the diversity of her work and educational experience. A Certified Quality Engineer, Green has a MBA from Duke University and undergraduate degrees in Accounting, Management Science, and a Minor in Computer Science from Averett University.

Linda Hutson Green filled the position of Dan River Business Development Center (DRBDC) President on July 1 of 2004. Green worked with the initial planning committee for the DRBDC and served with the original Board of Directors for the formative six years that included the building’s construction and initial tenant placement.
