DRBDC hosts companies for up to three years after which they are welcomed to new locations across the City of Danville and Pittsylvania County.   Since the building opened in April of 2001, the facility has graduated 15 companies into the region (83%).  These companies now employee more than 1100 employees.  Forty nine of the employees are from small business start-ups.
