The DRBDC celebrates tenant One-Stop Cellular and former tenant DVF FoodService, for their win as International Tenant of the Year and Graduate Tenant of the Year-finalist, respectively. In addition, DRBDC celebrated the 2008 Graduates from the DRBDC.

Coy Harville, Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisor Chairman and DRBDC Board Chair, Danville Mayor, Sherman Saunders, read Proclamations from the City of Danville and Pittsylvania County. Proclamations were presented to One-Stop Cellular, DVF FoodService, and the DRBDC.

DRBDC Vice Chair, Buddy Rawley, introduces the tenant graduates at the DRBDC 2008 Graduation ceremony.  Graduates for 2008 included, American Builders and Contractor, ASD Biosystems, Bankers Life and Casualty, Conway Consulting, DVF FoodService, EIT-South, Mid-Atlantic Broadband Cooperative, Danville Community College's Regional Center for Advanced Technology & Training, Swedwood, Unarco, and Yorktowne.

Linda Hutson Green, President of the DRBDC, speak after receiving a proclamation from the City of Danville and Pittsylvania County. The proclamation was given in honor of the Dan River Business Development Center being a finalist for the National Business Incubation Association's (NBIA) International Incubator of the Year Award. Although the award went to an incubator in Australia, the DRBDC is the top incubator in the U.S.
