Donnie Stevens, CEO of Dan Valley Foods, has garnered national attention for his success in building a diverse food distribution enterprise here in Danville. Donnie was recently featured in My ID Access, a New York on-line publication, one of the premiere industry on-line sources for distribution managers and sales professionals, as well as, foodservice industry leaders across the nation. Their January 28, 2005 edition featured Dan Valley's aggressive and systematic plan for growth. Donnie has expanded beyond traditional markets and has developed ancillary spin-off operations for a beverage and a laundering chemical division by capitalizing on a rural location and an in-depth knowledge of his customer base. Presently he houses his purchasing and marketing departments here at the DRBDC, as he continues to address growth potential.
