H&H Medical Supply formally cut the ribbon on their new distribution office at the Dan River Business Development Center (DRBDC) on December 1, 2004. Established in 1986 in the home of owner, Monroe Patterson, the company announced plans to expand under the leadership and direction of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Andrea Brown.

Established in 1986 in the home of owner, Monroe Patterson, the company announced plans to expand under the leadership and direction of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Andrea Brown. H&H Medical Supply is a locally owned distributor of health, medical, and safety equipment and supplies, whose current customer base includes nursing homes, hospitals, industries, governmental facilities, and physicians offices.
H & H located in the DRBDC in September 2004, and today the DRBDC Board, members of Danville City Council and the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors joined community leaders in a formal welcome for one of the centers newest additions. Since H&H opened their doors at the DRBDC in September of this year, they have launched an aggressive marketing and outreach plan. Already they have acquired seven governmental contracts, and numerous private sector customers showing the potential for a rapidly growing company in the Danville/Pittsylvania County Region.
They have established strategic alliances with a number of key suppliers, one of which joined them for the official announcement. Matt Murrell from Medline expressed his delight and enthusiasm for the potential that H&H offers stating, Medline is very excited about the opportunity to work with H&H and stands ready to support their growth. We look forward to supporting their product lines and know that their excellent customized service delivery will expedite growth and expansion in this region.
DRBDC Chairman Sherman Saunders expressed his pleasure with the centers new addition. Joined by Danville Mayor John Hamlin and former Mayor and current Danville Council Member, Ruby Archie, as well as representatives from the Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors - Vice Chair William Pritchett and Robert Scearce, Saunders thanked H&H for their commitment to the region and congratulated them on their decision to locate at the DRBDC. Addressing the management team Saunders stated, Our commitment to support the efforts of H&H and other companies at this center demonstrates your importance to the economic development strategy of Danville and Pittsylvania County.
While H&H has been extremely successful with their acquisition of state contracts, they are equally committed to local support. They are addressing the health and safety needs of local industries, fire departments, and rescue squads, as well as physicians offices and hospitals. Local companies have shown interest in the customized delivery and service that H&H provides.
